Anna is the leader of Smith Family Dentistry. As Office Manager, she keeps every aspect of the practice running smoothly — from daily operations and team coordination to ensuring every patient feels welcomed the moment they walk through the door. Anna leads by example, bringing warmth, kindness, and genuine respect to every interaction with patients and teammates alike. She obtained her Dental Assisting certification from Ridley Lowell Business and Technical Institute, joined our team in 2017, and is also certified in nitrous oxide monitoring. Her calm, organized presence and caring spirit set the tone for the entire office.

Nikki is the friendly voice you hear when you call our office and the first face to greet you at the front desk. As our Scheduling and Insurance Coordinator, she expertly manages the appointment calendar while working diligently to help every patient understand and maximize their insurance benefits — so there are never any surprises at checkout. Nikki takes great pride in making each patient feel valued from the very first phone call, and her warm, upbeat personality makes even the most anxious patients feel right at home. She is a true cornerstone of our front office and an essential part of the Smith Family Dentistry experience.

Amber graduated from Midwestern State University in 2007 and joined our team in 2021, bringing with her nearly 15 years of clinical hygiene experience. She leads our hygiene team, setting the standard for exceptional patient care and helping guide our hygienists in delivering consistent, thorough, and compassionate treatment. She holds certifications in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring and Pit and Fissure Sealants, and is a proud member of the American Dental Hygienists Association. Amber is known for her gentle touch, thorough care, and the genuine connections she builds with every patient in her chair. She is passionate about patient education and believes that a healthy smile starts with understanding — empowering each patient to take ownership of their oral health between visits.

Janis earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Tyler Junior College in 2010 and has been a cornerstone of our practice ever since. What makes Janis truly exceptional is the depth she brings to her role — before transitioning to hygiene, she spent 15 years as a dental assistant, giving her a comprehensive, well-rounded perspective that benefits every patient she sees. Her wealth of clinical knowledge, paired with a warm and reassuring chairside manner, makes patients feel confident and cared for at every appointment. Janis is one of the most experienced members of our team and we are grateful to have her.

Tiana graduated from Collin College in 2023 and joined our practice that same year, bringing fresh energy and a passion for exceptional patient care. She is certified in pit and fissure sealant placement, nitrous oxide monitoring, and laser training, and is a proud ADHA member currently working toward her bachelor's degree. Though newer to the field, Tiana's dedication, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for dentistry make her a wonderful addition to our hygiene team. Patients consistently appreciate her kind, patient-centered approach and her ability to make even routine cleanings a comfortable, positive experience.

Jerri graduated with a degree in Dental Assisting in 2012 and joined our team in 2017, and in the years since she has become one of the most indispensable members of our practice. With over 15 years of chairside experience, she is highly skilled in Zoom® Whitening, Dental Sleep Medicine, CEREC® digital dentistry, and a wide range of clinical procedures. As Lead Dental Assistant and Clinical Operations Manager, Jerri ensures that the clinical side of our practice runs with precision and care — mentoring our assistant team, coordinating workflows, and always putting patients first. She is certified in nitrous oxide administration and pit and fissure sealant placement, and her passion for dentistry and people shines through in everything she does.

Brooke is a Dental Assistant who plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping our practice running at its best. She manages patient workups, ensures every treatment room is properly set up and stocked before each appointment, and oversees sterilization protocols to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Brooke also provides essential support to our dental hygiene team, helping the clinical day flow smoothly from start to finish. Her thoroughness, reliability, and genuine care for patients make her an indispensable part of our team — and her warm, friendly presence ensures every patient feels comfortable and well looked after from the moment they arrive.

Cheri is the welcoming voice and organizing force behind our offices. As our Dental Sleep Coordinator, she works directly with our Smith Family Dentistry patients to help coordinate their sleep apnea care — from the very first phone call through every step of treatment. Whether she is navigating insurance, scheduling follow-ups, answering questions, or simply making sure you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door, Cheri handles it all with warmth and professionalism. She has completed the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Qualified Team Member for Dental Sleep Medicine program, and her genuine dedication to each patient's well-being is evident in everything she does.

Tara is a Registered Dental Assistant specializing in dental sleep medicine. She works closely with our doctors to fit and adjust oral appliances, educate patients on their devices, and provide the hands-on clinical support that makes every step of treatment comfortable and effective. Tara takes great pride in making sure each patient truly understands their appliance and feels confident using it at home. Her attention to detail, gentle approach, and genuine enthusiasm for helping people sleep better make her an invaluable part of our sleep medicine team. She has completed the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Qualified Team Member for Dental Sleep Medicine program, underscoring her expertise and dedication to the field.
